They get Jelous to easily

I have this friend and he stops me from making new friends. It might sound stupid but its true. I dont think he realises it but if i make a new friend he automaticly assumes i have a new bffl and im replacing him. It's making me feel as if i can't make new friends or he will go off in a mood or will always bring it up and what he say's come accross as jelous wether he's meaning it or not. I know i should say something to him but hes a really great friend and i love him to peices so i feel guilty if i confront him. And i know that i am in conrol of who i choose as friends but i just cant be bothered with all the hassle of trying to explain myself over something that doesnt concern him.:S

i think you should speak to him. Let him no that he is been too overprotective. Cause by the sounds of it his jealousy is controling ur life as you cant be social and make friends without him been moody.

yeah speak to him and let him know how you feel and maybe include him when you make new friends because he obviously doesn't want to be left on his own :)

I think he just needs reassuring that you're still good friends so make sure you tell him. Talk to him about it and tell him that although he's a good friend and he won't lose you, if he keeps on doing what he's doing then you're going to end up falling out. Then he will actually lose you.

I know i'd control it in a different way because i would just say to his face that he can go and be jealous all he likes because it is your life. But maybe you don't wanna do it in my tone of voice :D

Hmm, sounds like he's really negatively impacting you. You definitely need to just tell him straight off that he can't keep acting jealous like this. If he doesn't change, I know it sucks, but you may just be better off in the long run if you actually do try to replace him. It's so draining to have to constantly deal with someone like that (I went through something like this a few years ago, and in the end I just stopped talking to the girl that was acting like that for me.. It sucked for a while because she was one of my best friends at the time, but I was much happier later on when I got close to new friends that weren't so territorial of me).

If you're letting your 'friend' choose who you can be friends with then you need to harden up, put him into his place, possibly knock out some teeth if it'll make him get the message.

Sometimes my friends are like this... just ignore them or try to involve him more with your new friends

Your not doing anything wrong, you have to tell him how it is. Tell him how you feel, if he doesn't understand or hates you for it.. it's his loss. You've got to make new friends through out life! :)
