I've decided not to trade anymore because I really can't afford anymore to be ripped off. I've been ripped off loads lately and I can never get a good deal.

try trading 2-3c stuff , ou cant go in loss because of them
why not give the marketplace a shot?
You cant quit when it gets hard....
you gotta be like a Vulture when it comes to the marketplace.
you gotta keep your eyes on the current prices, possibly jot them down and every hour or two, check back to see if you can see an increase/decrease in the item. i've made about a 100c profit doing this with green pillows, buying for 162c and selling for 178c, but now ive decided to keep the pillows because i have quite a lot, and they're rare, so they might increase in price. so yeah, carry on trading. on a few items, it might be a loss but certainly not on other items. it's like real life - buying houses for example: there could be two houses which are very similar and the prices are £150k and £140k, the £140k is most likely to be at that price because they want a quick selling, and thats what a lot of people on Habbo want - sometimes.
Hope this helps you.
Black Iced is very hard to find I guess.
I don't know why Habbox don't add a 'Normal Furniture" section to the values for items such as coloured lines because they get removed from the catalogue and then no one knows the prices.
I'd pay a maximum of 5c for the Black Iced Gate btw.
5cs! I sold one for 37cs but I don't know where the creds have gone!
