To answer your question, No you are not staff yet seeing as you are only a trial DJ. If you pass your DJ trial you are then considered staff :)

You are still a staff member, when you get your trial, as you are subject to the same treatment as all other DJs, only are observed much more. You are just not guaranteed to be staff for longer than 2 weeks until you pass your trial.
You are staff, just not on a 'full time' basis yet.
