Angus Reid pollsters have the figures at;
38% Conservative and Unionist Party
27% Labour Party
20% Liberal Democrats
5% United Kingdom Independence Party
4% British National Party
3% Green Party of England & Wales
ICM pollsters have the figures at;
37% Conservative and Unionist Party
33% Labour Party
21% Liberal Democrats
9% Others (presumed)

It must be noted that ICM are considered to be Labour-friendly and Angus Reid do tend to tilt more towards the Conservative side. I do think it will get much closer as the election looms and it does look likely that a Lib/Lab coalition will be formed in the event of a hung parliament which also looks very likely going by recent polls, at the very least the Conservatives will get a very small and weak majority. The smaller parties will make little breakthrough due to the FPTP system although they will build greatly on their 2005 results which were;

I think as it stands the smaller parties will do better than Angus Reid predicts and that will hit the Conservative vote, although that could be diverted in percentage terms by the expected increased turnout in the event of a close-election which also looks likely. I myself personally and my Party included are looking for a hung parliament with a weak Lib/Lab coalition in which we can hope during that time that David Cameron is toppled in the Conservative Party and replaced with an actual leader who has Conservative values, with that being the weak coalition would then collapse within months (as they historically do) and an election called, with the Conservatives gaining a comfortable majority.
To echo what MEP Nigel Farage has said, this has got to be the most boring election in history in terms of the main parties because you cannot put a cigarette paper between them. Anywho, it makes little difference who wins anyway because over 75% of our laws to come from Brussels (EU) so you are essentially voting (if you vote for a pro-EU party; Lib/Lab/Con) for nothing, and its not helped either by the fact that the main parties at this moment are barely distinguishable from one another.
I think they need 11% to get a majority. It will be interesting to see how the polls develop.

They seem to of lost the plot to be honest, they're just continually slating both Labour & Conservatives at every opportunity, I'm glad they haven't chosen their allegiance yet should it come to a hung parliament but it's becoming really tiring. Vince Cable claimed to of predicted the economic crisis, yet he just said at the start of the decade that it was likely to collapse one day, quite obviously really... Just earlier Nick Clegg was carrying on about them being a real choice and them being bringing a fairer society for all (Whatever that means), I just don't see it happening.

what they have on their website seems a bit vague so far, but Cable sounds more competent than Osbourne and Darling. Labour have lost the plot, became to complacent and the tory policy of cutting public spending immediately will only put us into a double dip recession.Quote:
