Blackberry Appworld

I goy my blackberry today, I am trying to download the appworld from the website. Everytime it says

http://www.blackberry.com/app_includ.../app_world.png
No BlackBerry Device Found

Connect your BlackBerry device to the USB port on this computer now to load BlackBerry App World.

My blackberrys is connected however to the computer. I have the Curve 8520 if that helps
