The new Ricky Gervais film is set in a area I drive through almost everyday in Reading called Cemetery Junction..

the closest thing to being in a show was my town was an answer on the big fat quiz of the year. it wasnt actually the answer though, they were just writing down random stuff. what a claim to fame that is

erm my friends dad was on come dine with me which showed my town and ****. also beppe in eastenders left walford for here lolol and an acquaintances friend was on worlds strictest parents and thus my town was shown for a bit i think. besides that i dunno. was jokes watching uk border agency earlier today tho and some illegal immigrant claimed to go to a local uni if i heard correctly but got shipped back to india or wherever instead.

I think there's been a reference in coronation street cos the local media went 'OMG WOW' and it was only a line. that's how desperate we are for some recognition :p

Skins is filmed in Bristol and referenced a couple of times (I think).

ermmm i think Hollyoaks was once filmed on our high street.
