Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry just picked up one heck of a souvenir in New York City. The producer just phoned me to share the exciting news that he met with Ugly Betty’s Vanessa Williams last night and earlier today closed a deal for Miss Wilhelmina Slater to bring her wonderful wickedness to Wisteria Lane next season as a series regular.

I don't really see her fitting in after her role in Ugly Betty but I think that she can certainly bring an interesting aspect to the show. I just hope that they haven't type cast her and she actually has a different type of character to play.

noooo i wanted some hot stuff to happen but it didnt really :(
like ugly betty went with a bang but DHW just finished (the season) with a dundun where as ugly betty finished with PEWPEWPEWPEWP :L

Yesterdays episode wasn't the final episode was it! :O

Oh this should be really interesting. Personally I can't see her fitting into the show, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
