First Car.

Been learning to drive today, and got me thinking about first car.
Now, before i start looking, really got the hots for a Fiat 500 (which BSM drive and also offer £500 off when you get your lessons from them).

So wondering, since the 500 has a 5 star safety, is it cheaper to insure a newer higher NCAP rating than an older lower one?

They're pretty new cars and not really something you'd want as a first car as you'd be looking at a fair bit to buy one, plus the £500 off would only be off new models

I know prices of car, could get a brand new one with the disscount going on £7000ish just insurance i'm not sure..

If you can spend that much please look for a car which wont make people go "aww cute", unless of course you want that.

Were you thinking of getting a Fiat 500 for your first car?!

Yes. I know someone who got the Toyota AYGO and another the Corsa. Both brand new reg, and they haven't had any problems. I'm not one of these people who will 'do up' a car if you get me, just not a fan of old cars - no offence to anyone

You must be pretty well off then to go with a brand new car? XD
