Play.com charge?

I just signed up to Play.com (behind the times ere)

And it seems my available balance in my bank has dropped by £1

Do they charge? I wasn't told they were gonna charge?

There is absolutely no reason why it would of dropped. It's not showing up in transactions either..

Do you reckon they reversed the funds so they could see if the bank was legit, then i will get it back in a few days..

Do you do online banking? Might be worth looking at your statement. If not, go to an ATM which lets you print off a Mini-Statement and see what it says. They don't do charges for logging in though, it'd be a bit unethical :P

I think it only happens on the first purchase. It will be back soon :)

I never purchased anything.

I think it may just be to test your bank account and you'll get it back when you make your next purchase.
Best thing to do is just keep an eye on you account and see if it goes back in.

Get a mini statement from an ATM.
