London Firefighters strike on Bonfire Night
The stupidity and greediness of the Firemen and their Unions has finally got to me so I can't help posting.

The Fire Brigades Union is angry at proposed change to firefighters' shift patterns, which currently see them working 71 days and 71 nights a year.

First of all they're striking over a minor change in shift patterns? It really isn't worth it. It's not even over something quite important like workers rights, pay or pensions.
Second of all as a result they'll be 27 fire engines available compared to the usual 165, and they're over-stretched usually on Bonfire night as it is. They'll be lucky not to get away with any fatalities as a result of this ridiculous strike.
