Eggnog?
Tom and Nikki have just told me they don't know what eggnog is. Does anyone from across the pond like Eggnog? In North America it's something you can get every year around Christmas. It doesn't really satisfy my thirst but I think it tastes very sweet.
If you're not into eggnog around Christmas, is there some other customary foods you have around this time of year?

It sounds gross D: Never had it before either and tbh, I think I'll stick to the beers. LOL
-
I've heard of it but I've never ever tried it. I think I might try it if I can, it sounds interesting.

Haha, I've been offered it a couple of times at Christmas in Florida but always turned it down - it looks disgusting! :P
-
To be honest I have no idea what it is and the name puts me off and I have no intention of trying it!
-
Same heard of it in programmes like the simpsons but never tried it.
My uncle across the pond says it's a heart attack in a carton lol?

In Merry old England, and i'm guessing colonial enclaves that still exist/the United Kingdom itself we have Mince Pies, Christmas Pudding and probably a few other things i'm not familar with - although i'm guessing Canada and the United States also have Mince Pies and the like.

I've heard of it through various references but never had / seen it. What actually is it?
