Well howdy folks, long time no see! Yes we are back with Sunday Updates once more after a bit of a hiatus while other preparations were being made elsewhere. This time around we bring you a couple of updates that should hopefully be beneficial to us over a long period of time, as well as a few little clean ups. So without further ado:
- New Arcade System
- Changes to the Reputation System
- Events Tab on the Nav Bar
- Removed Prefixes from Games
So, who remembers the fun we had during Easter with the arcade constantly messing up tournaments? Who remembers Alex3213 reminding me about a billion times to add a section to the arcade displaying your last high score when playing a game? Well fortunately this new system should solve both problems! Not only that but as it's designed for vBulletin 4 it follows all the templates and style settings you would expect (so gone is that ugly tabley botched feel of the last one).
Even better yet, all the old games and scores have been successfully converted - so none of you have lost your high scores! :D

We've tested it ourselves however there may be bugs we cannot spot in a simple admin only testing situation. Please report any you find in the bug tracker and we'll try our best to get them sorted :).
We're well aware that many of you tend to find it frustrating when you are unable to rep good posts because of the spread limit. If I wasn't an admin I would run into the same problem because quite often people who post one awesome post, will be helpful over and over again. So, after some suggestions in feedback the reputation system now works by a time based cool down period. This means that if you give someone +Rep, or -Rep, you will be unable to give them another rep for 7 days.
If you try and give someone rep, a helpful box will pop up telling you exactly when you may rep them again :)

In order to make sure people can keep up with whats happening at Habbox, we've added a tab up the top to allow you to see the Habbox Events calendar. This is so our international users can see the events in their timezone, rather than having to convert from BST / GMT.

After some feedback, we've removed the Thread Prefixes from the Console and Computer Gaming forum due to the fact there are subforums already there to cover this.
