Well the good point is you now have something to do for about 5 minutes.
The bad points are:
It's a waste of money which you'll never use properly for anything other than music and internet.
There's most likely a new one coming out ~*soon*~
That's how it is.
Oh I love my ipad! :D There's quite a few cool apps you can get, and for certain people it can be quite entertaining! I use the internet bit the most, since I like to use the internet in strange places! (you'll never leave the toilet again!) You can also read newspapers, doodle, listen to music, watch films/youtube on a nice bigger screen than ipods, the keyboard is nice and easy to use, you can read books, the games are a lot better imo since its easier to see and control etc.
I wanted to get an IPad but I'm too clumsy and it's bigger and it looks like it wouldn't end well.
I love my iPad jailbroken.
The touchscreen's bright and the multitouch is lovely. After jailbreaking I have access to all the applications I want for free and the amount of things you're able to do on it with all the applications you could dream for at your disposal is really cool. Multitasking works great too, which is surprising considering the spec on the iPad.
I wouldn't wait for the update because we don't even know when it could be out or if it will even improve much upon anything. Everything at this point is nothing but speculation.
Got my WiFi 32GB one for Christmas and I don't leave it anywhere, it always comes in handy now. The past week it was useful for looking things up whilst I was revising (and getting distracted...) in school and for making notes in a meeting I had to go to. At work it's a lot easier to carry around while going to fix problems (found some apps for SSH and remote desktop), at home I use it when I'm away from my PC or in bed (it actually is a really nice way to browse the internet and stay connected via MSN/Twitter/Facebook). Will also be taking it on holiday with me for movies etc etc.
My iPad has literally replaced my MacBook.
Well, I looked at the rumours & its not even worth waiting, nor upgrading top the new iPad... I dont know anyone else with an iPad/iPhone4/iPod 4th Gen anyway so the majority of them features wont be useful
I want it to be able to make easy notes rather than using paper all the time & the fear of losing pens is unbelievable!
I may jailbreak it when I get it, although, doesnt this void the warrenty? :/
Lew.
It does void it but generally, if it doesn't work enough to be able to restore, they probably wont check.
And same here about the new iPad, I don't see the point in things like a camera on such a (relatively) large device.
Got mine in september last year, But selling it soon to get 2.0 :]
