Remembering Techniques?
I've got my writing exam SOON in French and it's just a simple 100ish words on hobbies/likes, I have it written out and stuff and I'm just going to have to remember it and write it out again. I did this last week on a practise run and I did pretty well and got about 6 mistakes in the whole thing, which wern't actually my fault really (basically I had this crap trainee who marked my first draft without pointing out these mistakes, then when it came to the practise run I copied it exactly as it was on my draft - you get the drift really)
I'm just looking for a bit of help to remember it?

oh god i hate french, anyway i would just recommend keep reading it over and over again. Maybe get your mum to help by repeating it without the book to see what bits you need to memorize. usually works with me. Goodluck!

re-read and re-write ;p just a few minutes a day as it's only 100 words. i'd just re-read and re-write as i'm going along then re-write as much as i can remember without reading it. don't push yourself to learn too much in a day, just take it slowly. if i can remember 800 words in 6 days you can do 100!! good luck

write it on your arms
I would

My sister has this really weird technique where she records herself saying it and then puts it on her ipod for like days on end, alright if you like the sound of your own voice I suppose...
I on the other hand do repetitive writing - write cover check or something like that, basically write it from what you can remember then see how close you are. Also I find pictures help - like find a picture that would help you remember the one sentence or something and remember the sequence of pics ;D

repetetive writing, like what you did as a kid with spellings.
or make a little song :L

Read over it once, twice, three times, four, five... etc Practice the words you do not remember and practice spelling as well. Try and build up a picture if you can or remember bullet points. It will also help if you write out the essay "under exam conditions" a few times, get you use to what it will be like.

write a list of words on your hand in chronological order of when you'll be writing them - if you get me?

Had to do this for a four page essay.
Honestly - record it and put it on your iPod/Phone and listen to it all the time.
Sounds lame and boring, but it works. I did it and got 1 mistake. Obviously reading helps but if you listen to it you remember it sub conciously - like song lyrics - and then you get to the exam and BOOM you get amazing marks ;)

My teacher about 2 or 3 years ago said, if you drink loads of water the night before and on the morning of the exam you tend to remember alot. I guess you'll be going the toilet a lot tho. :P
