What is team work like in the place where you work? Also can you state where you work :L
I do not have a job and therefore cannot answer this question but will post anyway as there's a competition on and it seems you're allowed to do things like this
When i worked in morrisons the teams where split quite a bit, mainly like different departments of the store but in general everyone would help out each other even if it weren't there job to do so, such as if you were going around collecting cardboard and you saw someone was on there way to go and put something into the warehouse, they'd take the skip for you, little things like that.
I had like a mini-job when I was about 9ish and team work was good. I wont state where though.
I work in the Army, and when on tour working in teams is about life or death.
You need to basically trust your life with someone elses, and vice versa! It's all about communication. Due to this, the army encourage you to always bond with your team mates, to gain trust in one another.
Obviously when working in civi street it's not quite the same, but the general team working is.
Being is the Army is like having a new family.. I can trust my team mates with my life, no shadow of a doubt, we get into trouble more than often, and probably more than we should! but we don't go down individually! If we do something as a team, we go down as a team, even if it was only one of us that was in the wrong, we all own up and say it was a joint decision.
Loyalty is the best part of a team.
I work in a pub, everyone is pretty much friendly, team work is fine unless you're a social ******.
I work in a kitchen and team work is fantastic. we have to though since we all have are own areas and we have to talk to each other to make sure things are been cooked for each meal :)
