ye I suppose you can turn any department around with a throne lol.
Well done tho. x
Sorry if we're using what's been donated to us to attract members!
I do think that this month has been a good one, probably because of the monopoly but I do hope that some comp-a-holics from now might stay to win the normal prizes as well as the possibility of a throne etc etc :)
Thank you. I'm sure the comps staff will appreciate it! :D
lol matt, to "turn any department around", that would imply it was bad to start with ;)
lol Mike I was just about to say, Comps still is probably the most successful department in my eyes because it was simply a shambles before you started. It's common knowledge that a throne will boost any site or department though, J25T. I think you and Laura took it the wrong way.. :P
I have to agree, it has been doing very well! Just to say I haven't been attracted to the monopoly game at all :L. I don't see Laura do much 'front-end' work though, or is that just me?
Depending on what you're talking about. I'm brand new to the management stuff, usually I'd be more involved in the monopoly, but because I wasn't involved in the planning and stuff, I've pretty much left that to Mike to sort ('cos it'd take too long to explain to me how to do it LOL). Behind the scenes, as such, a lot goes on though!!
What is 'front-end' work supposed to mean? Laura works her socks off. If she didn't general management would have no hesitation in firing her. :)
I don't think there is much "front-end" work to competitions really apart from posting them & announcing new competitions (which Laura does more than you :P) but yes from a management perspective Laura definitely doesn't do nothing (that's a double negative but makes sense :S)
