Forgiveness.

Would you say you are a forgiving person? I think I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to things like arguments with my friends and situations similar. But when it comes to trust and breaking it I just can't forgive, not fully anyway. I recently fell out with one of my best friends because she did something that really hurt me. I forgive her physically (as in I'll still speak with her) but emotionally the connection between us as best friends has gone.
What sort of situations are the ones you find hardest to forgive?

i'll always forget, but never forgive. i'm a stubborn ******* who'll hold grudges for a long time.

It takes a LONG time for people to earn my forgiveness, even if it seems like I may have forgiven them... it's not the same, takes longtingz. Although, there are some people who I'd still forgive if they asked or wanted, because of the circumstances and who they are and stuff :rolleyes:

I would say I am, maybe even too forgiving.

I generally try to forgive and forget. Although last year my friend really hurt me. We were meant to be living with each other and she pulled out really late because she said she couldn't afford it and missed her family at home. By this stage most of my friends were already sorted but I found some other friends to live with and when we were signing the contracts, I found out she had already signed hers with some other people. She has a ton of excuses and I broke of the friendship cause personally if anyone is willing to do that then they ain't much of a friend. I forgive her and don't really hold anything against her but I won't be speaking to her again.

I forgive, but half the time they think I don't even know about things.

i still don't forgive my friend for breaking my buffy dvd. it's been 8 years and i still bring it up :@


i used to get even and it ALWAYS worked in my favour. i just forgive and forget now because i don't want to wait until it's too late plus being happy is the best revenge init. i'm less likely to forgive if you intentionally hurt my friends/family but for me personally i don't mind, i sorta expect it to happen. i just trust less instead! though i'll neverrrr forgive my brother and don't think it's appropriate to do so anyway.
i'm not sure how i'd react if someone murdered my friend/family even if it was a ~mistake~. i don't understand how people do that.

I can be and I can't be. Suppose it just depends on how pissed off I am. I don't normally forgive though, well girlfriends I always do, can't help it.
