Second Alt

Tried again this time shortening a furni instead of joining two of them.

Er, well for a second, not like too bad? problem is its like blurred and theres a gap on the left hand side, also the black background wrecks it because we cant see the outline

Don't use a paint brush when making a furni smaller/bigger because it comes out blurred! Do it pixel by pixel with the pencil tool and it will look much better. And follow the shading and it will look amazing :)

I suppose it's not too bad taking into consideration it's only your second alt, however like Gina said there is a clear blur and you cannot see the outline of the furniture, Perhaps next time you could use a white background? :)

It's quite nice for your second alt, as people have already said though, the blur needs to be sorted!

Yep I agree with Jurv , blur looks out of the blue.
