Ways to speed up my PC +rep

Can you guys tell me if there is a way to speed up my pc?

And unwanted things I need on my desktop

Have you ever de-fragmented your PC? Also, it'd be wise to go through and delete any unused programmes

un-install unused programs, delete unused files etc

make sure there's no spyware or viruses on your computer

remove some of the icons from your desktop

I like to use CCleaner or msconfig to remove unnecessary start up services.

Since it looks like you have a HP, there's guaranteed to be a load of crap starting up with the PC.

yh remove desktop icons, I only have desktop icons for like my 5ish top things I use and why do u have so many pinned stuff omg that would do my head in

I don't have a HP, if your referring to the make of the computer.

Why do you have HP bloatware installed?

It came with the laptop, and its a compaq btw

Ah, HP own Compaq so that might be why :P

In any case, those programs can slow it down.

Is it okay to uninstall it?
