Personally my phone is useless to me without jailbreak, so I'll be excitedly awaiting an untethered jailbreak before I update iPad and iPhone to iOS 5 :P
I keep getting this message:
'The iPad "name" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3200).'
I have like 6 hours of updates to do first on my Mac :l
Managed to get it to work by putting the device in Airplane mode before clicking Update.Quote:

iTunes just said my phone was unable to be restored and that was it.. :(
My iTunes told me it was unable to restore so I took off the passcode from my iPad and it worked
apparently it's to do with apple servers cos loads of people are getting it
