Changing catalog prices?
Anyone know what's up with Habbo changing the prices on catalogue items without saying anything? I know it's not a huge deal, but I was a teeny bit annoyed when I tried to trade my lodge occasional table for a pod I really needed but they wanted more because it was only 2 credits in the catalogue. This was during the brief time it cost 3, and I had no idea that it changed! Same goes with the sinks going from 4 to 3. I wonder if they base it on trade values, buying habits, or whatever.

i dn't know about the sinks but the tables have already been 2 cred well for ages like half a year at least

at least a year.. not half.

Well, Habbos Been Making Lots of Profit On People Buying Credits and Stuff.. So I Guess they Decided to Lower The Prices.. Who knows?
-
Nope, the lodge occasional tables were on sale for 3 credits in the catalogue sometime this summer...June or early July I don't remember exactly. It went for that price for only a few days though. And the TVs changed prices too, remember when the Large TV was 5 and the red TV used to be 2?

hi
the tables have always been 2 and always will be

Well I suppose it's not bad. At least the prices went down as opposed to up.
Normal values seem more like a benefit to users if they go down in price, unless you invest in them and have tons of tables.
I think ever since people started buying credits for rares Habbo has been selling far less normals from the catalogue. If people can get 65 credits worth of norms for an hc, buying 35 credits of norms from the catalogue would be more expensive and quite foolish I suppose.
I think if they were to further reduce the cost of normals from the catalogue the HC sofa value in credits should begin a decline. The lower value of the HC sofa I believe would generate more purchasing of norms from the catalogue and would most likely cause a slight increase in profit.

I've always thought of the Lodge Occasional Tables as 2 cred. And i been playing for like 2 years.

lol, I guess nobody noticed it. It was really only for a few days, I doubt it could've been a client-side glitch, but whatever.
