Like?

Hey,

I thought that Facebook has many likes and we could do the same here if you like the thread or post you like it because the rep is good but i think this would make it well better than that !!!

I hope this idea could come true

the addition of the green numbers underneath posts when they are repped makes this idea pointless as it already shows who 'likes' your post.

Yes, it does. +Rep tends to mean you like the post/you agree with them etc. -Rep means the opposite?

+Rep/Like/Thank the post is all a similar thing but just shown in different ways but it does mean basically the same thing.

That would be pretty pointless if we've already got the repping system, if you +rep someone's post it's very similar to saying you 'like' that post.

Rep is basically a currency nowadays; it has many benefits.
Likes wouldn't need to be recorded or anything, no +rep power for them or anything, just like Facebook. It's like simpler rep.

If likes was introduced, I think people would be more likely to 'like' a post even if they wouldn't rep'd it under the current system. Having said that, I still don't see how it'd work with the current rep system in place as well, particularly as it already displays the amount of +reps a post has.

As said above, since the rep system is already in place this would be pointless.
