Christmas is over. Well sort of. CES 2012 is now the talking point in my eyes! Post any CES rumours in this thread, or what you expect to see - any technology predictions should be posted HERE.
LG have announced a new range of OLED tv's, and also a 55 inch, OLED tv the thickness of a ballpoint pen.

Is it just me who finds CES fundamentally boring? It's completely over-rated. Nothing decent ever materialises from it, it's just a bunch of product releases from Japanese companies with better televisions (Thinner, larger etc) every year. Then there's some obscure gadgets which will be featured on the gadget show but most likely be forgotten about in a few months time and never make it to mass-market.
I don't mean to sound like an Apple fanboy because I'm anything but, however I'd much rather watch one of their keynote addresses and product releases any day.

I too love Apple's keynotes, well I certainly did when Steve Jobs was doing them - he knew how to excite the crowd, he was fantastic. I love those just as much as CES and any other big technology show though, and I hope Apple has a few keynotes this year too.
