Local Elections 2012

The Local Elections are tommorow (including the ridiculous Mayoral elections and the London Mayoral theatre) and I wondered how people are voting if even at all. The nationwide parties (Labour, Conservatives, Liberal Democrats, UKIP and the Green Party) are fielding hundreds into the thousands of candidates for local council elections - of course, plenty of independents also standing across the country as well.

The latest poll is..

LAB 43%, CON 33%, LDEM 8%, UKIP 8%

So, how have you/are you intending to vote tommorow?

Not voting, only Lib Dem, Labour and Conservatives running in my ward.

Wth I haven't even had one of those cards through my door? :S I'm on the electrical roll so surely one should of come through but I swear it hasn't...

same. nothing mentioning it has come to any of my houses, no one has spoken about it and haven't seen anything. first thing i heard about elections was that elections thread in spam earlier today but i just thought it was only scotland who had elections (idk **** bout politics) so was talking in general terms. just another reason for me to not bother voting anyway really.

I had my voting slips come in early April, maybe you have your ones but they've been misplaced. This election seems to of creeped up, other than getting the slips I haven't really heard a lot about the elections! I ahve no idea who is running in my area but I'll find out tomorrow :P

I haven't had any slips through the door either! :O How strange! and yeah I agree it has creeped up fast haha, I can't say I've really seen any advertising things either, normally they all send information about their causes and stuff through the post haha.

I just voted UKIP for Mayoral and spoilt my Local Council paper (a nice big X over it).

Didn't vote, only would have if I lived in London so I could vote for Boris Johnson

I know more about the ins and outs of the Boris vs Ken election than I do what's happening in my own town. Haven't heard of an election so not entirely sure if there is one in my town (although dont they all happen at the same time? lol I'm confused). It doesn't seem that long ago since the last one!

I should have read the poll properly, I would vote Ukip, but im not voting.
