Is there a reason why comic relief singles are usually cover versions? I prefer the original.

I'm guessing its because they'll get more publicity with bands that are in the current charts/globally known

Ohh it's fab but my fave cover is the glee mashup of one way or another & hit me with your best shot.

I think it's alright, but it's going to tick me off if I see silly YouTubers claiming that "this was the original, blondie stole it!!!!!" in the future - I will seriously rage.

But yeah, it's alright I guess :P

Yeah it is quite annoying, almost as bad as when I see people say that 'glee created this amazing song!!11', when I'm sure 99% of glee's songs are covers :L
