Wimbledon 2013

Just started today. Any predictions?

For the Women's Singles, it's hard to put your bets against Serena, particularly on her favourite surface.

As for the Men's Singles, that's more tough, particularly seeing as Nadal is ranked here as World Number 5. Although some disagree with it, can't do much about it as he did have a massive layoff and a poor grass court season last year. This essentially means that he is on a crash course with Federer in the Semis, Murray in the Quarters and Djokovic in the Final- depending on the respective outcomes obviously. Djokovic has the easiest draw, so he'll get through to the Final no problem. Although, it's hard to say which one of the other three will join them.

Any thoughts? Also, feel free to use this thread to discuss anything related to this year's tournament!

I really did not expect that.

I'm exceedingly happy with Nadal being knocked out first round, as much of a shame as it is. Can only really make the Top 4's campaign a lot easier. Always love the start of Wimbledon, gets me in the summer-y mood!

I want to see Na Li win tomorrow but school is on bleh

Wow at Nadal, Federer was 7/1 to win the competition before Nadal even played, now he's shot down to 4/1. Wish I placed a bet now :(

Laura Robson played amazingly well yesterday, here's hoping she can get far in the competition!
