I was raised to speak in Estuary English, which is the most common dialect in the south, around the London area. We don't pronounce T's in words such as "water" and "bottle" (instead saying "war'ah" and "boh'al'") -- it's an extremely common-sounding language.
I hate Estuary English. Past few years I've been starting to speak in a more prestigious accent, similar to the new friends I made at sixth form.
its okay but it's not v interesting i want to be irish or scottish but not the annoying ones
No I hate it I actually sound better trying to speak in a non British accent.
Actually don't mind mine, gets a lot of attention elsewhere :P
yes scottish accent is great
irish is great too, as long as its ROI.
i don't like mine coz i try too hard to not sound scottish i end up sounding American but then that's understandable cause when i hear people from here on tv I cringe so bad
I've a thick mullingar accent, so i don't mind it much.
