Speaking at Oxford's Mini plant at an event celebrating apprentices, Cameron defended the Government's controversial work experience programme.
He said: "Getting people into the workplace, giving them experience of work, of timekeeping and all the things it means to have a job is a really good way to help get people started.
"It's a cruel fact but it's true that the best way to get a job is to have one already."
He added: "The danger for a country like Britain is yes, you see the economy recover, yes you see jobs coming, but you leave behind people who have not got the right qualifications from school. I don't want that to happen in our country."
Why is it that whenever immigration is brought up, all the politicians of this country (who are the ones allowing it to happen) can do is turn around to the British public and blame the public at large, pensioners and now students for mass immigration?
While many immigrants are hardworking, this doesn't void the fact that a lot of British people are being put out of work and having their wages depressed by cheap workers from mainly Eastern Europe. Is this the fault of British students? no. It's the fault of the politicians and Cameron's precious EU for allowing open borders.
I don't blame immigrants - just as I don't blame British workers or British students. I blame the politicians. It's like Nigel Farage has said before when the economic argument for migrants is brought up: before 2004 when the doors opened to Eastern Europe the vegtables were not rotting in the fields because 'lazy British youngsters cant be bothered to work'.
Criticial thinking, use it when Cameron and co make these arguments blaming you. It's him who is at fault.
