Recent A7 change

Now that you've added something to the clause that prohibits image responses and asks for 'relevant text responses', what is going to happen about images that contain text? If the text within the image is relevant, surely you can't punish for it? @Chris; @Calum0812; @Drewar; @e5; @lRhyss;

This rule makes me SO angry.

Don't understand what was wrong with it. If the post has text that is relevant to the thread it should be fine. There is nothing different from posting the text or typing it. The image just makes it a little bit more fun.

It isn't difficult to add some text to a post.

That really didn't answer my question... It also isn't difficult to answer a question directly.

The rule is quite clear. Any post that contains an image with no text will be dealt with in the same way.

I don't see why there has to be an issue made on EVERY detail that is changed. This rule has always been in place but it has just been written on paper so to speak.

with no text? I asked about images that CONTAIN text. Don't you think it's a little silly to ask that users essentially regurgitate their post in text form? Surely it's taking advantage of the extra tokens they'll get for making their post longer?

because people disagree with them. no point implementing rules that don't make logical sense.

To be fair, I did just answer your question but removed it as I wasn't 100% sure. I did say, as far as I am aware, this rules stands for images with texts, but I may be wrong :) something I can easily ask if I needed to.
