There are currently 2 Graphic competitions that are going to be sent out (I think) during the final week of this month.
Graphics are doing a monthly graphics comp and I think comps throw out a graphics comp once a month
Also why are the trials so long, wern't they 2 weeks :S
Aw. :( that sucks, I wish they were more frequent. I find myself making a graphical response for normal comps. :P

Yes, the Graphics department has started doing monthly graphics competitions, but I will speak to @Shonly; to see what we can do about this :)

We have a couple of graphic competitions coming out in the next few days and a monthly one organised by the Graphics Department. I'll try to see what else we could do though :).
@Nick; unlike other departments where you have to do your minimums each week, you have to write a certain amount of comps per month. If we did it for two weeks they'd be passing/failing before they complete their minimum if you get me? :P Not sure if it used to be two weeks, been a month since I joined anyway!
We are working on trying to bring a larger range of competitions to you, this by getting involved with other departments as to encourage them to submit "monthly" competitions to be released. This as well as what our own staff can produce. May I suggest, if Graphics is what you prefer, you click the link in my signature and subscribe to them. This means we will send you a notification every time that a graphics competition (or any type of competition that you select) is released.
Oh and in Comps we do things in a monthly rota rather than in weeks, so this is why trials are so long :P We set out a calendar at the start of each month for our staff to follow, so they know when they need to submit competitions for us to check, and when they close so that they can pick the winners. It wouldn't really work effectively on a week to week thing :P
