Mell leant back against the tree and watched the young child chase the hen.
She was ready to get up and help but her mother came out and glared at her.She beckoned with her finger and her daughter sighed and got up.''Bogger her.'' She mumbled as she stumbled towards her mother.''Mellica Elima Fontiire.You are meant to be training to be a witch.Helping a child is beyond reasoning.If i catch you'r thoughts again and your thinking about helping someone You will be punished.''Just at that moment her best friend Victoria strolled into the feild.She glanced from Mell to her mother and mutterd ''Bogger''Before sighing and saying''Melly.Sam says to come to the preists house urgently''Mell looked from her mum to Victoria and walked towards Victora.She had been expecting this.She grabbed the cloth bag from the base of the tree she had been sitting by and opened it.Rootling through it she climbed over the stile towards the priests house and pulled out the clear vial containg an acid green liquid.
As Mell walked towards the priest daughters room she tossed her long raven black hair away from her face and stared at the vial with her vivid green eyes.Suddenly the door burst open and out stepped the daughters,Eva,Nanny.SHe mutterd under her breath and then said with hatred in her voice ''Ready then Mellica'' Mell laughed and walked into the room.She stood by the bed and stared down upon the screa*****va and pulled out a silver braclet from her cloth bag.She placed it carefully on Eva's wrist and muttered something in Latin.Eva promptly became quiet.Victoria gazed intently while Sam held Evas hand.About two months before Eva suddenly became ill.She then gained a fever and would scream for no reason.It had taken a month for the potion to get rid of the fever to brew and Mel's mum had not been happy.Mell gently opend evas mouth and tipped the acid green potion in.She searched in her bag for a black bead.She found it and placed it on Evas forhead.It rapidly turned white.Sam gasped but victoria smiled.Mell laughed at sams expression but started searching her bag again.She found the last thing.A block of bark from the rare Morthina tree.It could be deadly if not used correctly but Mell had trained.She grated it over Evas rising and falling chest and when it was used up picked up her bag and walked towards the door.She looked back at Eva and left.
As Mell washed her face in the morning dew her mother sighed.Mell was meant to have witch powers.But for some reason she had Healers powers.This was not good.She was a MarieBeGide.However her mother and father had both bean MarieBeFroneth's.
