We all know the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover”, but how many times have you picked up a book in the bookstore just because the cover looks good? I know I do that all the time, but maybe it’s just my appreciation for things that are designed well.
For this month’s Graphics competition, I would like you to
recreate the cover of one of your favourite books. The cover can be a completely new design or your interpretation of the existing cover. You can design it however you want. This means it can be hand-drawn if you wish.
You may have noticed that this competition is similar to the popular Cover Art competition done by Habbo recently. However, there is no rule about how old your book should be. You can redesign anything from
Pride and Prejudice to
The Goldfinch.
All entries will be judged by the Graphics department. The entry that is most creative and well-designed will win!
