Ok, Can you get shelves that go on wall without any nails?


I want to put some in my uni room for more storage, except i can't put nails on the wall

I can't say I've personally seen any beyond free standing and those usually used in bathrooms. The adhesive would have to be quite strong to support the uneven load introduced, given there would be little support to balance the centre of gravity; or if there is support, it would have to be strong enough to support the overall weight.

I suppose you could get a shelf which is hung via strings/rope from a central point above, like with a suction cup, but I imagine that would be quite unstable.

If you want to put anything on it, then in a word - no.

o wait no i dont i was thinking of floating shelves but they still have nails x

cant you just use nails and fill in the holes when you're done with it?

I haven't heard of any. Would they even be able to hold anything if they didn't have nails?!

The best thing I can recommend is standing shelves, I doubt you'll find anything without nails, and if you did I doubt they'd be stable at all.

you're better off just getting a large table in your room because there's no way you're gonna ge a shelf like that in the UK anyway
it's your own house now isn't it with uni friends though why can't you use nails
