The Fake Telephrase Scam
You may have remembered this scam from before, but it seems it's floating around again like a bad smell.
What happens is user A and his clone account user B have a room owned by the user A called ''giveaway 200credits''. They have 20+ accounts that they have hacked AFK in the room to keep the room popularity up and when you enter the room you are asked to go inside the teleports. Everything may seem innocent so far, but it is far from that..
There is four different rooms, pitched as a telephrase and all ask you ''Who is the Habbo of the month?'' then ask you to visit some HabboXL site (DO NOT VISIT IT!). The furni in all the rooms are owned by user B whereas the rooms are owned by user A, they must think this way if they get banned they won't lose their furniture or something.
I've tried reporting it to the moderators but they never seem to sort issues like this, I've also carried out a request on the help tool. It's quite sad, I had told someone it was a scam beforehand but they ignored me, 15 minutes later they were helping to boost the room popularity - and hacked.
So if you come across this, know not to fool for it. Also remember to ensure friends don't either.

not gonna lie scams have become so much more elaborate over the years

Thanks for the heads up, but Habbo are always warning people not to visit external sites unless they are trusted - so they cannot be held responsible either.
More of an oh, well we said not to!
