Has anybody who was in your school year died?

A simple question, has anyone out of your year died either in school or after school?

We had two lads in wheelchairs with an awful condition where their muscle literally wasted away. At the end of school both sadly passed away.

How about you?

Yes unfortunately a few people. Last year or so, These two weren't really in my school year but very close. 2 kids went missing and when they were found, police found that they had commit suicide. So sad. Also another girl passed away from suicide this year i believe. In a few years below me. Its so awful.

not aware of any students but a teacher died at school when i was in year 8

Twice in Secondary. One of them I spoke to a fair bit, he went on Holiday and never came back, it was really awful.

No one I was close to, my friend I knew lived in a state I moved from.

At my past school two boys were killed when they were on their bikes, this lead to some students creating a charity which now works with other schools in my county.

i can go through my fb list and pick out a few people from school who have passed but none in my year i don't think

Yes, one of the people in my school year died of brain cancer a few weeks back. Spoke to him occasionally over the years, he was sort of in the circle of friends of my friends.

None in my year but when I was in year 11 there was a boy in year 8 who had been messing around by a river over summer with a group of people. They all went swimming even though there were signs everywhere saying DANGER - DO NOT SWIM HERE and he drowned. They watched him but thought he was joking so he died whilst they watched. Took the authorities 3 days to recover the body.

a friend of my close friend who was in my year killed herself in 2013/14, i had actually spoken to her a lot it was sad to hear :(
