Kickstarter (and the likes)

Just curious, how many people have actually funded a project on Kickstarter?

Did it ever fruition?

I'm sure I remember @dbgtz; mentioning funding some indie game or something.

My cousin used it to his fund his art project, to begin his first art exhibit as a professional. It was successful

Not an indie game, Shenmue 3. Only did it because it's guaranteed to actually happen unlike most crowd-funded campaigns.

I have heard of Shenmue 3 for the last 5 years atleast...

The kickstarter was only announced in June. Anything you heard before that was either a rumour or the creator saying he would like to make it :P
