intrusive thoughts
do u get these?
any kind of examples?
for me i can just be minding my own business and my brain tells me to jump out a window, crash my car etc
ive also lately been having these thoughts that iv accidently ran someone or something over and not realised
iv been looking online and apparently that ^ specific one is linked to ocd :/

Yh when I'm in a car wih someone I often think what would happen if I grabbed their steering wheel and turned it into a tree or other car etc

yes when I'm walking along a cycle path near my house and a cyclist is coming in the opposite direction sometimes my brain is like YOU COULD JUST PUSH THEM INTO THE ROAD AND THEY MIGHT DIE AND NOBODY COULD STOP U but then the moment passes and i'm left there like wtf
also I have a lot of random self harm thoughts for no reason :/ similar to you jen about crashing my car but also when I'm holding a knife and things again my brain will go omg you could just stab urself and that would be it for EVER

I have this rly bad one involving razors but cant find anything about it on google so guess am alone there welp
but ye I will go through periods where its stuck in my head and I cant get it out n I just internally scream
wonder if theres treatment for it or ways of distraction
mine seems to play up more when I'm due my period tho

also did anyone else read Jacqueline wilsons book lola rose
she had intrusive thoughts where she would say "if I stare at this shark for an hour (she was terrified of them) my mum won't die"

So glad I'm not the only one. I thought I was a psychopath...well I probably am but now I feel less of one! :D
I always have the driving one like you said
-
I always have that one about knocking people down and not realising and I'm dragging their poor body for ages :( I used to have other regular ones but haven't noticed having any in a long time except the car one
-
I've not had thoughts like these, it seems a bit scary :/ x
