house history

does your house have any history or when was it built/what was there before etc

learnt a few things about mine over the years.

built in 1860s (making it around 150 years old) and was built on land owned by the Earls of Sefton. the land used to be fruit orchards. the houses were built and occupied mainly by management staff of the Bootle Docks during the height of the British Empire and at a time when Liverpool handled 40% of all world trade through her ports.

All I remember is that my house is from the early 1800's

My house was built in 2009. No history to it :(

Current house I live in was built by my dad and friends/family from the ground up. Gave up work full time for about 4 years to finish it. Still not fully complete, but livable. There's ya history.
