Its easier, the crits are yummy and who the hell uses LB? they're dead before i can use that.
Plus u can say that for enhance. "I dont get whys its so fun, its just spamming SS, a shock and lava lash". If anything, you use more buttons as elemental.

Ding 1-17 on my new (second :P) priest.
80 now, managed to get a decent spec + glyphs and ive got 2.3k dps in my epic greenies.
61,62,63,64,65 on my Warrior ^^
Trinkets and lust/heroism is irrelevant as all specs can be expected to do the same.
Spirit wolves is a rather long cooldown, magma totems and buff totems are simple, lightning shield is indeed annoying and 5 stack maelstrom can definitely be tricky to catch as soon as it hits 5 stacks which is why you can make life easy and get ShockandAwe.
Elemental is similar to enhancement, a rather easy rotation, make sure flameshock is alwasy on the target, don't waste a single second of flame shock by recasting too early, use chain lightning on every cooldown, use lvb on every cooldown and fill with lightning bolt. Sounds much easier than it is though. I've raided as all 3 specs in ulduar but 'd say that enhancement is slightly harder than elemental. But that's just my vote, perhaps because I'm used to ranged > melee. And definitely, melee have it much harder on most fights.
I hate Shock and Awe, I just like plain old Blizzard combat text that tells you when Maelstrom is ready, I find it easier to keep an eye on.
I'd agree (though as a user of MSBT) it isn't that hard to see the 5 maelstrom stack message and after a few minutes with SaA it's pretty simple to know what to cast next. I usually disable it except for the shield warning because lightning shield fires so quickly :P
