After phoning eBuyer they want the Mobo, PSU, RAM, and Processor back to try and find out whats not working lmao.

Tell me exactly what the problem is and I'll see if I can fix it.

When I say exactly I mean down the the finest detail; i.e did you even let 1 drop of sweat onto the mobo fine.

FGS, it's probably not the PSU. I have had a similar problem before and it was the mobo shorting on the case.

BUILD IT OUTSIDE THE CASE BAREBONES BEFORE YOU SEND ANYTHING BACK. Just to make sure otherwise you're wasting time sending stuff back.

You can work out what is broken if you build it barebones.

Sit the motherboard on the antistatic packaging that it came in with the processor, graphics card and just 1 (one) stick of RAM in it. Connect the two power plugs into the motherboard. Connect the power switch from the case and the internal case speaker if there is one. Plug a monitor in. Turn on. If it posts it works and everything in there is fine. If there is a CPU, PSU, RAM, motherboard or graphics problem you may get a beep from the case speaker. Depending on the beep pattern that can tell you what is wrong. It may not beep at all though.

If it works fine turn it off and start slowly adding more things, testing it each time you add something. If it breaks when you add something it's probably that that is broken. If you get everything in and it works fine then it's the motherboard shorting inside the case ;).

Sounds to me like a motherboard issue. I had a similar issue and it was the motherboard as it had failed (unknown reason as it had been working fine for 2 years then just decided to die)

Can i just ask, you did put your motherboard on standoffs didnt you? as if you didnt and you screwed it directly into the case... then bye bye motherboard and its probably the reason it wont boot.

That just sounds like your mobo is shorting, if your motherboard is touching the case in any way, then you've done something wrong and need to start again. Take it out the case, put it on a box (repeating this thread 100x) and plug everything in. If it works, your problem is you're not screwing it into the case properly, if it keeps doing it, your mobo is fried.

My mobo is fried by the sounds of it then. :P
