Just to clarify, were items removed from public view or removed completely from the system? Either way, why weren't they all just left on the system whether they're valued or not?

Yeah, that was always the case since the system came out in 2008 (has it really been that long?!) or whenever it was, and items could never be deleted so they'd be put in a hidden category and have their name removed otherwise it's mess up the results if items had the same names etc. I'd be very surprised if that's been fixed now.
Ah ok, but why not leave everything in public view for reference purposes and for what @Kyle; said too. Otherwise it kind of defeats the whole tagging idea which was supposedly going to be in v7 (is v7 still an ongoing project?). Anyway, if you haven't already noticed I'm not on much and haven't been following everything lately but in terms of the Rare Values reform I'm assuming it's not fully complete yet. I just had a look at the site and when I went to Limited Edition Rares the category was empty :S.
If you're talking about what I think you are talking about (likes of the Pillows/ICMs with different names?) I have renamed those items purely so they come up with the rest of them on the search bar. For example, White Pillows & Green ICMs never showed up with the rest because they had different names.. so i've edited the names to include 'pillow' or 'ice cream'.
Not ideal of course but it's the value that counts ultimately.
We did discuss making some sort of archieve before the reforms and this would still be possible in some manner considering all the items are there but hidden, but I strayed away from going for a joint-content/RV project tied with reforms because such a content project would be huge and would probably mean we'd never get around to it as with many such plans.Quote:
