I've worked with Mit before, I have confidence in him. I don't know where your mistrust comes from ;)

Just to answer the question of why he may not accept, I've always thought of him as quite a modest person who just does his 'thing' when he wants to. I didn't think he'd do a management job over it to be honest, he doesn't come across as a person who'd do that. Guess I was wrong, and I think that may be the case for most people.
