yeh see, my problem with leona lewis and most pop bands is that. 'co-wrote'.
bands such as fleeing from finales, and lower than atlantis write all their own songs, and dont get the recognition that they deserve. they are real music.
im not saying that kate nash deserved it, i dont really like her that much, but at least she wrote her album, she didn't have to co-write like the manafactured piece of crap she isn't.

and to anyone who liked the klaxons+rihanna song, i have it on mp3 if anyone wants it.

sorry but i have to stress this again just because someone writes their own songs doesn't mean they're good.

and how can you say that leona lewis ect.. don't make real music, as far as I was aware lyrics don't make music, they just make it better (in most cases) so I don't know how you can judge it and say it isn't 'real' music

and to be frank myself and i'm sure the majority (and those who wont admit it) would rather listen to an album which has really good lyrics, good tune, good vocals than an album which has lyrics written by the artist, has an alright tune and not very good vocals

& again, the whole indie genre, no one realises who manufactured it is now adays anyway :\
how many kooks, views, razorlights do we have nowadays and again with kate nash, pretty manufactured aswell, everyone was raving how she was a lily allen copy and then the fact she has had it alot easy than some artists because she recieved the whole 'hype/artist of the year' crap which obviously only took her so far anyway because with a number 2, 23,23 and a 151 shows that her music doesn't appeal to many and can be even classed as a one hit wonder if you call foundations a hit.

Samsabear (or whatever), to co-write an album and to have a voice like Leona's already makes her better than Kate Nash. Leona can be compared to legends like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, who can Kate Nash be compared to? Lily Allen. Great comparison! She had to win the competition, she didn't just get it all handed to her on a plate. I don't know how you can even say that Leona's music isn't real music, it takes far more to sing how she does than for your ridiculous band examples to, they don't even come close.
