I like this idea but i think it shouldnt be based on posts :(

Is it possible to have a star system based on the number of posts in vBulletin or do you need to install hacks for that?

Yes, you just change the images in user ranks bit of admincp.

Yes, it is possible from the admincp

AdminCP>User Ranks>Add New User rank

I dont really like the idea of basing it on posts as it would encourage more spam to get up to the post limit for a rank. It also does not show how trusted a person is, but how many times they post. I dont like the idea of having to reach 700 posts for a custom sig/avvy (it seems pointless). Im sorry for negative but thats what i feel

I like the idea, But I don't think it should replace reputation, as its completly different, but be used as well as it
