What they shown in the episode - Does this mean the virus is changing? Or has it infected the water supply/food. Or was that kid just generally ill in the first place.

think it's the new threat they said they were introducing this season, think it's like a new influenza type virus he prob got from eating the deer and what the pig died from , and he coughed in the water supply thus infecting it
