Usually real life and vatsim controlers want to establish you (line you up) at the very least 8 miles, however sometimes shorter and usually longer (10-15 miles, upto 20ish).

However, there are some airports where you litrally turn finals 0.5 miles before the runway and have to basically drop your plane out the sky - But for n00**, I wouldn't try it, it's difficult.

Its not his GFX Card, its just he edits them in Photoshop =] Also his friend told us a nice little program to make our games look better.

I told him to go do the lessons on fsx.. then to join vatsim..

Its both. The graphics card and nHancer. The only thing edited in there is "Auto Levels and Auto Colour" Great signature by the way :)
