I have played flight simulator games before and really enjoy them. But I am confused about what flight simulator game it is that all of you play and how it works etc. Like is it a game that you have to buy from a store or something? Thanks, +rep to any helpful answers. :)
Basicly, its a game mostly used by aviation enthusiasts (sp), bought from a store (unless your naughty and download it via torrent) and it simulates being a pilot... From starting the aeroplane, to taking off, to landing... It has various models available from the menu, and for download aswell. Payware and Freeware addons are avalible (See sticky in this forum for a great list) whitch include scenery, repaints, models and more...
To get the best out of flight simulator you will need a good graphics card (Such as nvidia) and great computer specs. Your best having a joystick aswell!

My internet connection is crap so downloading it is out of the window. Can I buy it at somewhere like PC world and if so, how much will it cost and what is the exact name of the game? Cheers.

Flight Simulator X is the latest version, but it uses alot of memory...
