It's terrible, ill be sticking to MacBooks.
Don't be fooled by the $500 price, that's about £400 still, not a bargain, just cheaper than expected.
16GBs is rather pathetic bare in mind, you'd surely want 32GB or 64GB if you want to use much video content. And of course 3G access is a must, not so cheap after all.

The 32GB 3G + Wifi is the most resonable choice at $729. £500 maybe. Still a bit pricey after further thinking time.
Suit yourself. Carrying around a heavier non-touchscreen laptop with terrible battery life that takes 3 minutes to turn on and requires an external 3g card or wifi doesn't sound appealing to me after seeing this though.Quote:

Big let down so far is no camera and that its ugly.

The back is actually rather sexy, the front is ugly and the homescreen is disgusting. Will have to see how they look/feel in the Apple shop though before I make my final judgement
