Nah I was there with him, Mikedude told us that literally. Why would Shane of searched every single Hobba? He isn't one of those people.Quote:

Mods should inevitably replace Hobbas, not temporarily, but indefinitely. Why?! Because Moderators have more power at hand, more experience, and much wiser in years. My solution: Hire more Moderators, it can only result in success.
Hobbas were only created to keep regular Habbos interested, give them a goal to strive for. I got nothing against that but... they just aren't needed anymore.
im gonna take a minute to lol@youQuote:

I thought this might be the case aswell but i emailed becs about it and she said there are no plans to scrap hobbas on the UK hotel in favour of the habbo x system. She said due to "recent events" there has been a delay in hobba recruitment and it should get back to normal eventually.Quote:

Habbo UK is the biggest hotel, it tends to have 9,000 people online at peak times. The hotel could not operate without hobbas and expect to maintain the same level of moderation it has over the last few years. Take the US hotel, it has 5,000 online at peak times (almost half what the UK get) usually and has no hobbas, almost every call for help you send for a rule breaking offense goes unanswered. There is only a certain number of moderators they can hire to keep within budget so its not a simple as just saying "hire more moderators".
Hobbas are needed and always will be needed on the larger hotels if they want to maintain their claim to be a "Safe teen chat site".
Hobbas need to be replaced...
Springmoon & NubianQueen are the only ones that do stuff :|
I never said they weren't efficient, I stand by my statement. They aren't needed at all. Try reading my whole post, I said hiring Moderators would make up for getting rid of Hobbas. I stated my reasons as to why Moderators are more capable. With the budget thing, I'm sure many would work as volunteer Moderators, it's happened before and it'll happen again, people actually like to help free of charge. I know a few who've actually done this, don't BS about whether they want pay or not, it's irrelevant. Considering Habbo is still a growing business they can definitely use more money on hiring new staff, they are raking in the dollars as we speak.Quote:

One Hobba sees it this way another that way, I'm tired of the inconsistency, I'm sick of Hobba's altogether, 99% of the time (with me personally) I'm redirected to the front page, that really isn't helpful at all.
I don't have a grudge, I just see things this way.
Agreed, they really can't do much anymore. Replacing them as permanent helpers without banning powers is a great idea.Quote:
