hows about a bank for ur items.......

wot about you cud trade wit the bank ur furni for different furni

e.g u trade in a iced sofa for a mode oe but u are only aloud to exchang a certain amount of items like 3/4 a week

I don't see how this idea would reduce scams or improve accessibility to your items, sorry. I think having a bank account would, if anything, make things harder to organise etc...
